Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Old Bergen Church will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight service on December 24th at 7:00 PM. This will be in coordination with the Christian Church of Jersey City and the MidEast Evangelical Church. Come join in the wonder and awe of Christmas as we worship together on this holy night.

If you would like to order poinsettias to celebrate the birth of Christ and to help beautify the sanctuary for Christmas you may purchase them for $15 each. The flowers will be delivered on December 20th and remain in the sanctuary through Christmas Eve. ORDINATION and INSTALLATION of CHURCH OFFICERS
At our recent Annual Meeting, Old Bergen Church elected the following members as Deacons, Elders and Trustees: DEACONS Carol Alexander, Emily Carlin, Sheldon Samlal, Betsy Kishlansy TRUSTEES Dan Alexander, Jonilee Ketelsen ELDERS Lillian Nerahoo, Winston Rampersad, Sandra Sanchare We will hold a service of Ordination and Installation of this new class of officers during worship on February 9th. Find out more »FAMILY PROMISE – HOMELESS SHELTER MINISTRY
Old Bergen Church will serve as host to area families experiencing a housing crisis. From Sunday, February 23 to Sunday, March 1, our church building will be a temporary homeless shelter for four families. We will provide evening meals, and breakfast snacks, as well as accompaniment during their journey back to housing security. Please consider donating time or goods to this important ministry. On Thursday evening, February 27th, Old Bergen Church will host a benefit concert with Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, David Lamotte. David is a friend of Old Bergen and has visited here with his family. He is a popular singer, author and speaker. We will hold our next monthly Food Pantry distribution on Saturday, February 29th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Anyone interested in helping as a volunteer is welcome to show up just before 9:00. You can assist for an hour or the entire morning. Last year we provided food for over a thousand individuals in Jersey City experiencing food insecurities. Your efforts make a real difference in people's lives!

Sunday Worship Services Suspended
