Extra Commitment 2020

When the Trustees kicked off  the Extra Commitment 2020 Campaign, we had no idea what the year 2020 was going to bring! While many congregations have suffered terrible losses because members no longer meet for worship in person or participate in the regular practice of collecting an offering each Sunday, we have learned new and creative ways of supporting the church’s ministry. It has not been easy, but we are grateful for many of the members’ faithful generosity this past year. God is good! In addition to the regular giving, we have been blessed with over $35,000 in gifts to the Extra Commitment Campaign over the past two years. 

While the campaign is “officially” over, it is not too late to make a contribution. We are very much aware of the unparalleled hardships this past year has brought, including many financial hardships. If you have been blessed to survive the challenges of this past year, we encourage you to consider a final gift to the Extra Commitment Campaign which will be used for projects, ministries and expenses over and above the regular annual budget. Your gifts will continue God’s legacy of Old Bergen Church for years to come.
