World Communion Sunday
On Sunday, October 2nd, we will join with Christians around the world to celebrate our common faith as we observe World Communion Sunday. You are welcome to contribute a special bread from your own background to be offered as part of our processional before Communion, and if you wish you can exchange it for the bread that someone else has offered.

Calling all artists! Come share your talents! Or if you are an art-lover, come enjoy the handiwork of others. We will hold an Art Fair on Saturday, October 8th from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm in Brett Hall. Along with the Art Fair you can enjoy a delicious meatball sandwich “hand-crafted” by chef Ralph Pantozzi. All proceeds will go to support the Deacons Fund in ministries of outreach in our community.

The Deacons are coordinating a children's TRUNK or TREAT event to take place Saturday afternoon, October 29th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Various groups and individuals are encouraged to sign up to decorate cars and distribute goodies to the children who will gather in the church parking lot for an afternoon of fun, treats and games. This Sunday we will will celebrate the sacrament of baptism for Matheus Leonardo Dookhit, grandson of Sandra Sanchara. We will also welcome new members to Old Bergen Church. In addition, this Sunday is Youth Sunday and our young people will share in the leadership of the service.
