Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
We will hold our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, December 24th, at 7:00 PM. It will be a service of Lessons and Carols featuring readings by Adele Ta'afua, Al Cebedo, Lidyagrace Isram, Tom Buno, Kayla Badree Absolam, Sandra Sanchara, Sattie Deodat, and Winston Rampersad. Food Pantry
Our January Food Pantry will be held the last Saturday of the month. The food distribution will be Saturday, January 25th in the fellowship hall of the church. We will begin assigning numbers for intake at 8:00 AM. Doors will open at 9:00 AM and the distribution will conclude at 12:00 noon. Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. We will hold an Ash Wednesday Service on March 5th at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary. It is a simple and solemn service concluding with the imposition of ashes on the forehead. The Schools Water Fountains project is complete! 1,169 drinking fountains installed! Thanks to organizing by Jersey City Together and the hard work of the Jersey City Public Schools staff, the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority, and many others, students and staff at every JCBOE school and early childhood learning center now have clean drinking water with new water fountains. On June 22nd we will observe Children’s Sunday and recognize various mile markers in the lives of our young people during worship. This marks the end of the church school year before we take a break for the summer. Following worship on that Sunday we will hold our annual church picnic. We will gather in the south parking lot for food, fellowship and music. Burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert…

Clean-Up Day - We are planning a volunteer Clean-Up day on Saturday, June 28th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Anyone who can help with yard work (mowing, trimming, pulling weeds, raking) or indoor cleaning please sign up on the volunteer list in the church sanctuary - or just show up on that Saturday. Many hands make for light work!
