Easter Flowers
The church will be ordering Easter lilies and tulips for Easter morning. If you are interested in purchasing any of these they are $15 and can be picked up after the morning worship service on Easter, April 9th. You can use one of the forms on the table at the front of the sanctuary or call the church office at 201-433-1815. Deadline for ordering flowers is April 2nd.

After a three year break, the Sunday school teachers will host an Easter breakfast again this year on Easter morning, April 9th at 9:15 in Brett Hall. It will be catered by Wonder Bagel. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for youth, $3 for children age 3 to 11, and children under three are free. You can purchase tickets from any of the Sunday school teachers.

Holy Week and Easter 2023
We travel through this season of Lent in joyful anticipation of Holy Week and Easter. This year Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on April 2nd and Concludes with Easter on April 9th. Find out more »One Great Hour of Sharing Offering
On Palm Sunday we will receive the One Great Hour of Sharing Special Offering. This annual offering is used by our denominations (Presbyterian Church USA and Reformed Church of America) to address hunger relief, disaster assistance, refugee resettlement, and self development of people. Children are invited to fill their fish coin banks and participate in the offering, too! Fellowship Pot Luck Honoring our Seniors
We invite you to join us on Sunday, May 21st, following worship to a special pot luck luncheon in Brett Hall honoring our senior members. The Deacons will host this fellowship event. There will be “Table Talk” cards to help everyone at the tables to share stories of their lives and learn from both the elders and youth in our community of faith.

Old Bergen to Help Sponsor Syrian Refugee Family
Church World Service of Jersey City has reached out to Old Bergen Church to seek our support in helping to settle a family of six who will arrive from Syria this summer. This will involve providing furniture, household goods, groceries and cleaning supplies, and "gently used" clothing donations. There will also be need to help with transportation from time to time. Make plans now to join us for our annual Church Picnic on Sunday, June 11th. We will gather in the South parking lot following worship. Burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite side dishes and desserts to share.

Bergen Square Day Festival
The annual Bergen Square Day Festival will take place Saturday, September 16th, fro 12:00 - 6:00 PM. Bergen Avenue will be closed fro Newkirk to Vroom Streets. There will be vendors, food, entertainment, children's activities and more. Old Bergen will hold a dedication ceremony to commemorate recent restoration work in our historic cemetery and the completion of a beautiful mural depicting the role of Jane Teurs in the American Revolution. World Communion Sunday
We will celebrate World Communion Sunday on October 1st during the 11:00 AM worship service. On this day we recognize our common bond with all siblings in Christ around the world as we proclaim our shared hope and faith in the risen Christ. You are invited to bring different kinds of breads representing various traditions from around the world. They will be used in our opening processional.

The Deacons are hosting an Autumn Festival for the church and community on Saturday, October 7th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Weather permitting, it will be held outside in the side yard on the corner of Highland and Bergen Avenues. There will be face-painting and balloons for the children, games for all ages, empanadas, hotdogs, and a bake sale, a pop up coffee shop and more.
