World Communion Sunday

Since 1933 the first Sunday of October has been set aside to celebrate our Christian unity and ecumenical partnership with other Christian around the world. We will celebrate World Communion Sunday on October 5th with music and liturgy from our siblings in Christ from around the world. The service will begin with a procession of various styles of bread representing our diverse global identity, and will conclude with the sacrament of Communion. Of course, here at Old Bergen Church every time wee celebrate Communion it is, in a sense, a World Communion Sunday!
