Jersey City Together Workshops

There will be two workshops and listening sessions sponsored by Jersey City Together held at Old Bergen this next month. On September 6th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM the Housing Team will host “Know Your Rights” – an informative workshop on tenant rights led by Rutgers University Law Faculty and the Waterfront Project. On September 20th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, the Education Team will hold a workshop on public education in Jersey City. They will listen to concerns of parents, teachers, and concerned citizens and also explain how the failure of the City Government to collect the approved payroll tax results in an increase in your education taxes. Come learn more about what is happening in our community and let your voice be heard!
