Sunday Worship Services Suspended

Dear Friends and Members of Old Bergen Church,
Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ. Upon careful and prayerful consideration and based upon the best information we have at this time, the Consistory Session has decided to SUSPEND WORSHIP SERVICES through the end of this month. We will evaluate the situation at that time regarding future events.
The decision was based on a number of factors. First and foremost is the health and safety of our members- especially those who may be more vulnerable to health risks. Secondly, we send a moral obligation to model and participate in responsible social behavior during this COVID-19 pandemic. Any action we can take to reduce the spread of the virus will limit the demand for hospital beds and can ultimately save lives. It will take all of us doing our part, great and small.
I will be posting a live stream video of an alternative worship experience Sunday morning that you can view online. Look for more information and a link later this week. If you have questions, concerns or logistical needs during these challenging times, you can still reach me by phone or email. The church office remains open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM every weekday. In the meanwhile be kind to one another.
