Interfaith Homeless Memorial Service

We will join with others in our community for a special Service of Remembrance for those who have passed from this life during the past year. This service is especially for those who have died from causes related to homelessness and may have not been afforded a traditional funeral or memorial service. Others may join in the worship experience and reflect upon others who are no longer with us in this year’s holiday season. Participants are encouraged to light a candle in memory of friends and loved ones. The Interfaith Homeless Memorial Service takes place December 20th at 1:00 PM at Old Bergen Church.

This annual event is sponsored by the Garden State Episcopal Community Development Corporation who also hosts a luncheon following the service in the Old Bergen Church fellowship hall. Winter care packages are distributed to those in need.
